ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) Although not strictly an elearning organization, several of the special interest groups within ACM deal with the topic in considerable detail. They also have an extensive elearning service for their members. ACM is one of the organizational memberships that I enjoy the most.

Question: Which of the above organizations publishes journals, proceedings, etc.?

STC (Society for Technical Communication), my chapter in Quebec is currently focused on writing rather than e-learning, so I'm hoping that will change. The STC home organization includes all forms of technical communication, including e-learning and instructional design. I'd also be interested in ASTD if there was a Canadian chapter.
